On our homepage you can click on "Become a Member," and you will go to our Membership Page which contains membership level information and a means of contributing via PayPal.  A mailing address is also provided for those who wish to mail in a check.  All the primary functions of PlacerSustain; the website, meetings, outreach in the community, and so on, are supported by volunteers.  PlacerSustain is self-supporting through contributions from the community.  We would like to expand web services, media outreach, the development of sustainability action plans for individuals, businesses, and community organizations.  Some of this work is beyond what can be done by volunteers, i.e. there are costs.  If you don't wish to contribute at a particular membership level, any contribution is welcome.  PlacerSustain is a 501(c)(3) organizations, and your contributions are deductible as a charitable donation.

In order to be allowed to post content you have to register and create a free account.  When you first enter the site, on the Homepage, right under the login fields, click on the Create Account link and complete the Registration Form.  You will be emailed an initial password.  Then you may login, click on My Account, click on Edit, and then change your password.  Every registered user can post content.  Most content postings are moderated, which means you won't see the post until it has been reviewed and approved by a site administrator.  However, PlacerSustain is not filtering allowed content unless it is offensive or spam.
