PlacerSustain: Voices of Placer County's Sustainability Community

PlacerSustain is on an calendar year membership cycle.  All the basic PlacerSustain member rights and privileges are free.  The work that is being done, which is considerable,  is primarily  being accomplished by volunteers.

We have published a report on our first 16 months of operation on the website.  Also, here is a link to our proposed  2012 Initiatives.  It  has been an amazingly productive period: monthly meetings, energy initiatives and workshops, Sustainable Loomis, the Placer Sustainable Economic Development Network, the Placer Local Food Alliance, the Food Coop working group, the PlacerSustain You Tube Channel, ...  Over 250 people have registered on the PlacerSustain website.  During that period the website experienced over 30,000 pageviews.

In 2012 we would like to expand our public outreach to include more meetings and workshops; news reporting; video stories about what people are doing; the development of sustainability plans for individuals, businesses, and  organizations; the creation of BuyLocal, Green Commerce, and Sustainability  Web Resource Directories, and more.  Additional financial resources are needed, especially for the  sustainability plans, video reporting, and web resource development.

We ask you to support this effort by joining PlacerSustain as a Supporting dues  paying Member.  The basic fees are low and start at 25$ / yr. for individuals and $100 / yr. for organizational Members.  Any support donation is welcome.
