While researching for ideas on community building and creating local economies I came upon this checklist for "Locality Development." It is a checklist of reason for building local communities and I believe many of these reasons are why Placer Sustain exists. Happy reading.

The Sustainable Loomis working group has formulated recommendations to the Loomis Town Council for approval at the upcoming November 8, 2011 Town Council Meeting at the Train Depot, 5775 Horseshoe Bar Road. The meeting starts at 7:30pm. Public comment would be welcome on these recommendations at that time. A copy of the recommendations is attached.
