We are pleased to announce that Stan Nader has been appointed to the Board of Directors of PlacerSustain. Stan is on the City Council of Lincoln and just recently served as Mayor. He has been active in stream conservation and other sustainability related interests. A short bio will be posted shortly.
Stan Nader grew up on a farm in rural Lincoln. He attended elementary school in Sheridan and graduated from Lincoln High School in1966. Stan attended Sierra College and received his Associates ofArts degree in agriculture in1968. From there he went to Cal Poly at San Luis Obispo and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Crop Science in 1971.Stan then returned to the family farm to co-manage the operation with his father.The family grew wheat,barley, sudangrass, oathay,rice, safflower, vegetable seeds,and cattle.They also operated a feed store.
